On October 21, Chinese Ambassador Wang Hejun and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique Alberto Gonsalves jointly attended and delivered a speech at the handover ceremony of humanitarian supplies provided by the Chinese government to refugees affected by terrorist attacks in northern Mozambique.

 

 

Ambassador Wang said that China has always been firmly opposed to all acts of terrorism and firmly supports Mozambique and other African countries in independently safeguarding peace and security. Since the terrorist attack in northern Mozambique, China has raised funds and pooled resources through multiple channels, and provided free aid in cash, food, medical supplies and other goods in short supply there.
