On November 23, the Chinese Embassy in Albania held the closing ceremony of the Online Seminar on E-commerce for Albanian smes and start-ups. Ambassador Zhou Ding attended and presented certificates to the participants.

Ambassador Zhou said that the 12-day seminar shared China's successful experience and classic cases in the field of e-commerce, hoping to provide reference for the development of Afghanistan's digital economy, and help the two sides establish contacts and create cooperation opportunities. In recent years, bilateral economic and trade relations have been deepening, and China has long remained Afghanistan's top trading partner. Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi paid a successful visit to Afghanistan not long ago. Leaders of the two sides expressed the need to carry forward traditional friendship, enhance political mutual trust, deepen cooperation in economy, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges and write a new chapter in China-Afghanistan relations in the new historical era. At present, China's e-commerce has entered a stage of high-quality development from high-speed development, and the Afghan government also regards e-commerce as one of the important pillars for promoting economic growth. There is broad space for bilateral cooperation, and it is believed that e-commerce will inject new impetus into bilateral trade and investment cooperation in the future.

Ambassador Zhou said that In his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the fourth China International Import Expo held not long ago, Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that openness is a clear symbol of contemporary China. China's resolve to open up at a higher level, share development opportunities with the world, and make economic globalization more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial to all will not change. China is committed to maintaining the stability of global industrial and supply chains. We will be deeply involved in international cooperation on green, low-carbon and digital economy. We will speed up the development of Silk Road e-commerce, enhance cross-border logistics capacity and work with other countries to build an open world economy.

The graduation ceremony marked the 72nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Golden oranges hung on the branches, glittering and translucent morning dew reflected the sun. In a cheerful atmosphere, the participants exchanged views with Ambassador Zhou, shared the harvest and joy of learning, and expressed their hopes for the friendship between China and Arab countries and the deepening of bilateral cooperation.
