On November 25, Chinese Ambassador to Eritrea CAI Ge, Director of Eritrean Culture and Sports Committee Ambassador Zemed, Director of The Confucius Institute Liu Liyin, educators and media attended the award ceremony of "China Dance Competition".

In his keynote speech, Ambassador CAI Ge congratulated the winners and thanked the people behind the stage of the "China Dance Competition" and all the friends who care about the cultural exchanges between China and Eritrea. Ambassador CAI said that the joint efforts of China and Ecuador have created a platform to "dance" to meet friends, promote cultural exchanges and deepen the friendship between the two countries and their peoples. It is hoped that the "China Dance Competition" will become a brand event of friendly exchanges between China and Ecuador with the care and support of all parties. The Chinese Embassy will give full support to holding more cultural and people-to-people exchanges to promote the traditional friendship between the two countries to a new level in the new era.

Ambassador CAI Ge and Ambassador Zemed presented certificates to the winners and took a group photo. The winning contestants performed dai dance, Mongolian dance and the dance "Falling Flower" in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.

The "Chinese Dance Competition" was co-organized by eritrean Culture and Sports Committee and Confucius Institute. The video competition was divided into two groups: group dance and solo dance. More than 30 dance lovers participated in the competition. After 2 months of arrangement, shooting and selection, the first, second and third prizes of each group were determined respectively.
