At present, direct flights from South Africa to China have not resumed. In view of the current situation of the epidemic, in order to further prevent and control the epidemic and reduce the risk of cross-infection, the following requirements are put forward for passengers leaving for China from South Africa via a third country:

(a) the relevant personnel shall be 14 days before the departure flight from South Africa (such as off on August 15, since August 1) strictly that occupy the home, bedroom isolation and self health monitoring, according to the requirement to fill out the self health monitoring form (attached), and upload test prove that the material such as along with the small program to claims for health code.

(2) the chinese-invested enterprise project personnel (including the central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, private enterprises), all needs to 21 days in advance to occupy the home, bedroom quarantine and health monitoring, written proof issued by firms (according to home quarantine after restoring direct flights and closed loop management for a total of 21 days), together with test prove that the material such as upload applet to explain get health code. Those on temporary business trips to South China shall be handled in accordance with the requirements of (1).

(iii) For other requirements on applying for health codes for Persons transferred to China through third countries, please refer to the Notice on Issuing Health Codes for Persons transferred to China through Third Countries issued on our website and wechat official account (August 4, 2021).

(4) It is particularly necessary to remind people who are transferred to China through a third country to understand the relevant transit visa, quarantine, testing and health code verification regulations of the transit destination before departure, and to fully understand the boarding requirements of the intended flight with the flight manager, so as not to affect the trip.
